Good for you and your boyfriend Martha. Just for the record… Steak and Knobber Day is actually on March 20th. It was created in 1998 by radio DJ’s in San Diego. Another DJ came up with the same holiday with a different name in 2003 and said it is on March 14th. But the actual holiday is on March 20th.

You can always celebrate on both days if you like!

Thanks for your comment. I absolutely plan on giving Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw credit for this wonderful holiday. I am hoping to do an interview or something with them in the upcoming months. KGB in San Diego has been my favorite radio station forever!

I celebrated Steak & Knobber Day with friends on March 14th!!! My boyfriend really spoiled me on Valentine’s… so he definitely deserved a good steak dinner and a good knobber
